Welcome to the brand new iPhoneographyCentral website!
To celebrate over two years of sharing iPhone art and photography on iPhoneographyCentral (and our associated Flickr group), Bob Weil and I have been working hard to deliver a much better site with easier access to the articles and tutorials – whether you visit us on your computer, tablet or a smartphone. We’re still tweaking – and there is much room for improvement – but we’ve made the first steps and we’re delighted to be sharing some great tutorials by new artists as part of our “coming out” party.
We will also have some great app giveaways. With the launch of our new site, these giveaways include a bunch of promo codes for the powerful new app Leonardo, by the same developer who brought us Superimpose. These will be given away over the next couple of weeks, so please watch this space. We also have some fantastic new tutorials from some iPhoneography heavyweights including Marie Matthews and Rad Drew (both of whom are contributors to our brand new iPhoneography tutorial book) – and if you enjoy street photography, you will love our article getting behind the scenes with veteran street photographer Sheldon Serkin.
To add to the iPhoneography mix, we will be sharing reviews, video how-tos and artist features from some of the leading players in the field. This is an exciting new beginning for iPhoneographyCentral and we’d love you to share your work with us by submitting your tutorials and articles/article ideas for possible inclusion on our site by using the quick and easy registration process.
Thank you to all the artists that have shared, and continue to share your work with us and to those of you who have visited us over the past 2 and half years and written us such lovely emails about everything you have learned from this site. The journey has been incredible. We have all learned so much and can’t wait to see where your mobile art and photography will take us next.
