Remove halo & edge glows from HDR and Slow Shutter Cam photos

Remove “halos” or “edge glows” from HDR and Slow Shutter Cam photos

I use Slow Shutter Cam to take a lot of my photos but soften I get a halo effect around some of the subjects in my photos. Recently I upgraded my iPhone from an iPhone 6 to an iPhone XS and this problem seems to have gotten worse when taking photos with Slow Shutter Cam but I found a way to get rid of the “outer glow” using Touch Retouch which I demonstrate in the video above.

In the video I show you how I removed the halo effect or edge glows that sometimes appear around photographs taken with iPhone apps like Slow Shutter Cam or HDR apps. I use the app Touch Retouch to remove the white-banding halo effect. In this video I use an iPad Pro because I find the larger screen easier to work with but you can also use an iPhone too. TouchRetouch is also available for Android currently retailing for an absolute bargain at £1.99.

I’ll be adding more videos like this throughout the year so please subscribe to the iPC YouTube channel to see more iPhone editing and artistic techniques for taking your photos into a more creative space. CLICK HERE to see our YouTube channel now.
