For those of you interested in the more artistic side of iPhone photography, I will be hosting a Slow Shutter Cam workshop and demonstrating the range of techniques of long exposure photography including beautiful light trails, motion blurs and the more painterly creative side of smartphone photography.
I also have prizes for the best long exposure shot of the day!
Event organiser, Glen Mulcahy created the SmartFotoFest event on the back of the annual MobileJournalism conference he has held annually since 2015. I have attended everyone of these incredibly innovative Mobile content creating conferences and have never experienced such enthusiasm, warmth, willingness to learn and excitement from each of these events. If you have a smartphone, perhaps you are a blogger and are interested generally in learning more about creative content generation, including video on a smartphone, which apps and accessories to use, you may want to extend your visit to the Mojofest which follows the SmartFotoFest from 6-8 June.
The Festival of Smartphone Photography will be held this coming June at the National University of Ireland (NUI) in Galway.
