Free LA-area talk on iPhoneography techniques!

I was recently invited by the photography society in Santa Barbara, California to present a talk on the subject of iPhoneography photography and post-processing techniques.

It’s FREE to the public. I will go through my workflow in tutorial form for several pieces, and I will also be presenting some of the images from the gallery of our book – The Art of iPhone Photography on Amazon. I will also have on hand several very large 30×30 and 30×40 inch framed aluminum prints from the iPhoneArt iPrints store.

We will also cover some background on the importance of the iPhone and the iPad as an emerging platform for personal expression and the creation of photography and art.

Here is an example 30 x 30 inch image printed on matte aluminum, mounted to a 3/4 inch plywood backing and floating in a cold rolled steel frame:

If you’re in the LA area, the event is scheduled for this coming Tuesday at 7:30 pm at the Museum of Natural History (2669 Puesta del Sol, Santa Barbara, CA 93105). Feel free to reply to this post for any additional information, or message me through my Flickr account. I’m in Orange County, but will driving up there for the day on Tuesday morning.
