Concrete Jungle

You will also need the apps Scratch Cam and Old Picture

1) This image of skyscrapers with tall palm trees in the foreground gave birth to the title “Concrete Jungle”. Image 1 shows the original, unedited image taken with my iPhone 4.

p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 16.0px ‘Lucida Grande’; min-height: 18.0px}

2) I put the image through the App: ScratchCam and liked the Pop Art style, see image 2.

3) However, I wasn’t entirely satisfied, so I put Image 2 through the App: OldPicture and decided to keep the resulting Image 3.

4) I then put the Original Image 1 through the App: OldPicture to get Image 4.

3) Then, via the App: Iris Photo Suite 1.4, I blended both Image 3 and 4 to give me Image 5. I then resized the image to 1600x1200px.

4) Image 6: this is the final image after putting Image 5 through the App: Camera+ using the Clarity filter (one of my favourite filters). I loved how the detail on the tall palms showed up. Next, I applied my copyright watermark via the App: Impression, I was chuffed at how the watermark fitted perfectly into the dark shadow at the bottom right of the image.
